at the Cambridge Half Marathon + 5K

Minuteman Senior Services is proud to be an official charity of the 2026 Cambridge Half + 5K. Running the 2026 Cambridge Half Marathon + 5K and fundraising for Team Minuteman helps support more than 20 programs and services that empower older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their caregivers to navigate aging while remaining safely and comfortably in the setting of their choice.
Register as a charity runner for Team Minuteman and commit to raise funds that support aging in place with independence, dignity, and choice. Every dollar raised helps provide access to nutritious meals, financial and health benefits counseling, caregiver support services, and so much more.

Follow the steps below to register:
- Click “Register” on Minuteman Senior Services’ official Cambridge Half Marathon + 5K charity page
- Under “Choose your Event Option”, choose “I want to fundraise and run” and your race choice:
- 5k charity bib ($500 minimum fundraising requirement)
- Half Marathon charity bib ($1,500 minimum fundraising requirement)
- Half Marathon + 5K Challenge charity bib ($2,000 minimum fundraising requirement)
- Continue through the registration steps to the “Become a Fundraiser” page
- Select “Minuteman Senior Services” under the “Support a Charity” dropdown menu
- Finish registration and set up your fundraising page to get started!
Donations towards the fundraising commitment are due by 11/8/2026 @ 11:59PM. Credit card information is collected during the registration process and will be charged for any difference in commitment on 11/9/2026.
The Cambridge 5K takes place on October 31, 2026 at 10AM and is the kickoff to race weekend! It’s a 3.1-mile course that starts and finishes at CambridgeSide. It’s a quick out and back along the Charles River that will have you in awe of the Boston skyline.
The Cambridge Half Marathon takes place on November 1, 2026 at 7AM and is a 13.1-mile USATF certified course that starts and finishes at CambridgeSide. It is a fast and flat course along Memorial Drive featuring views of the Charles River, MIT, John W. Weeks Footbridge, Harvard University Stadium, and more.

Team Minuteman is offering great perks and benefits for joining - PLUS, the first 20 to join Team Minuteman receive a pair of Goodr sunglasses!
In addition, participants who join Team Minuteman will also receive:
- Choice of a Team Minuteman long sleeve t-shirt or tank for race day
- Fundraising and training support, including spotlights in Minuteman’s email newsletter and social media
- Team Minuteman race day cheer squad
- Raise double the fundraising minimum and receive a refund of your registration fee, PLUS some great Team Minuteman gear for fall:

- Half Marathon participants: Raise $3,000 to receive a Team Minuteman Nike fleece pullover hoodie
